Andy Chrysostomou is an author, Reiki practitioner/teacher, writer and web designer. Previously a design engineer Andy learned Reiki after developing spondylosis of the spine. He was told by doctors that he would eventually be confined to a wheelchair, but after learning Reiki Andy's back condition resolved and he is now able to continue weight training on a daily basis. Blown away by this result Andy began teaching Reiki courses in 2000 and has been extolling the virtues and benefits of Reiki ever since. Along with Dawn, Andy wrote The Essence of Reiki, explaining the system and origins of Reiki in greater depth. Currently, Andy contributes book reviews to High Spirit Magazine and has developed his own review site at Onlyreviews.net. He has also previously written about ethical and environmental issues and products for Hippyshopper.com.
Andy is also a vegan organic convert and a member of MENSA.
Likes: Reiki, weight training, martial arts, maths, science, politics, organic gingerbread men and anything 'almondy', napping at regular intervals, web design and anything else creative.
Dislikes: Constricting things like socks, raisins and sultanas, custard, ignorance, crowded places, toxic environments.
